The 9th international festival of performance art NAVINKI 2007 in Minsk
The 9th edition of the international performance art festival NAVINKI
2007 will take place in Minsk 1-3 September 2007. Since 1999 the
festival became remarkable and influential event in contemporary art
life in Belarus. Hundreds of performance artists from all over the world
attended the festival during its history. Recent years performance art
gains bigger popularity among artists and attracts wide audience. Every
festival discovers new names and reveals new artistic ideas.
This year festival edition was contributed by educational and artistic
institutions such as SMFA (Boston) and the Weld (Stockholm), which
promises new interesting collaboration projects with our foreign
partners.
NAVINKI 2007 program incudes artists from Belarus, Poland, Sweden and
USA.
1-2 September 11:30-19:00, the festival will present indoor performances
at the art gallery “Palac Mastactva” (Palace of Art)
3 September 12:00-17:00 the festival will present open-air performances
by the lake Viacha.
